Business Analyst Equity Class

For our client a global banking company located in Zurich, Harvey Nash is looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST - EQUITIES ASSET CLASS FOR A 6-MONTHS CONTRACT.

Job Description:

Your role Do you have a combination of business, product and IT knowledge? Do you have strong client facing and interpersonal skills?

We're looking for someone like this to:

- understand and define business processes that support IT solutions
- partner with the Market Risk IT teams to help define and deliver their product
- develop a deep understanding of Equity Portfolio Data
- Take ownership of project deliverables and produce concise solution designs
- manage the staff of a project team

YOUR TEAM

You'll be working in the Market Risk Data Hub team. We are a global team responsible for designing, building and maintaining IT solutions to support the Market Risk Control Functions. We are organized across asset classes which face off to the business and take full accountability for defining and delivering products.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

You have:

- ideally got a University Degree or Masters in IT/Computer Science
- a strong Market Risk background with a focus on Equity asset class
- strong Business Analysis skills
- an IT development and architecture background

YOU ARE:

- a strong Equity asset class BA, that has worked in complex global environments
- flexible and able to define pragmatic solutions
- an excellent communicator who can adapt to different audiences
- having 10+ years of experience in IT projects ideally in a senior BA role
- well structured, very reliable and dedicated; high attention to detail, ability to handle a significant number of dependencies and issues ensuring nothing is missed out.
- knowledgeable of Market Risk processes within a multinational financial services organisation, and have an understanding of the regulatory drivers for Market Risk
- having a good understanding of Banking products and process (A Finance Management certificate will be a plus
- fluent in English
- GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO DRIVE THE DISCUSSION CONVINCING SENIOR STAKEHOLDERS
- EXPERT SME KNOWLEDGE IN ASSETCLASS/RISK DATA & REGULATORY PROGRAMS
- GOOD EXPERIENCE WORKING CLOSELY WITH BOTH IT & BUSINESS DRIVING THE CHANGE THROUGH TO DELIVERY
