Business Analyst - Electronic Trading - MiFiD 2 - Investment Bank

A leading investment bank are undertaking a number of regulatory change projects within their electronic trading space and have a fantastic opportunity for a senior Business Analyst to close out audit gaps across the FICC business.

As a senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for working across Fixed Income, currencies and commodities products, assessing audit points concerning the impact of MiFiD 2 upon the electronic trading businesses, then designing place remediation plans and executing these to close out audit gaps. This will entail using structured business analysis skills and knowledge of the electronic trading business to work with stakeholders to undertaking how MifiD 2 is effecting their business from a regulatory compliance perspective, critically within a predominantly in-house build rather than vendor platform technology environment.

You should apply for this role if you have:

- 5+ years business analysis experience in a top tier investment bank
- Strong electronic trading experience including algo trading, HFT, DMA and RFQ
- Understanding MiFiD 2, German HFT Act, Dodd Frank, EMIR etc.
- Experience in principally in house build rather than vendor platform environments
- Detailed understanding of Fixed Income, currencies and/or commodities products
- Robust understanding of operational risk/risk control relating to trading platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for the Front Office
- Structured business analysis skills including BRDs, FRDs, process flows and state diagrams
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution

This is a £600-£700/day contract role initially for six months based London.
