BUSINESS ANALYST - E-COMMERCE
Our client is growing and the E-commerce expansion is moving rapidly. Our ambition is to even further improve the customers buying process and our internal working routines with help of IT.
A large amount of enhancements will be made in existing sales solutions to meet the countries needs connected to E-commerce. With the objective to secure speed without risking quality in the requirement management phase, we temporarily need to increase the capacity in our solution management area. The scope of this assignment is to transform the business requirements to use cases in alignment with our clients Requirement Management Methodology.
Phase 1 of the assignment is to detail and analyze the high level requirements related to the six effected solution areas (aprox. 500 change requests) needed for the E-commerce UK-pilot.
THE ASSIGNEE WILL WORK AS A BUSINESS ANALYST WITH THE FOLLOWING MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for capturing, analysing, and documenting business and stakeholder needs.
- Responsible to integrate requirement management activities into the relevant E-commerce initiatives.
- Facilitate the identification and elaboration of business requirements (for process, organisation and service).
- Responsible for analysing and documenting business requirements. For a technical Service this includes functional and non functional requirements.
- Facilitate the elaboration of feasible solution alternatives.
- Challenge and assure quality of stakeholder needs, business requirements and solution alternatives in order to identify consequences and reduce risks.
- Responsible for managing expectations among all stakeholders by leading the communication and securing the understanding of business requirements.
- Support the solution design and secure that it fulfils the business requirements.
- Actively challenge and manage changes of stakeholder needs and business requirements.
- Actively participate in test planning, test preparation and drive business acceptance of the solution.
THE IDEAL BUSINESS ANALYST SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILL SET:
- 4-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst with similar tasks.
- Experience of working with E-commerce.
- Good knowledge in general requirement management processes.
- Knowledge in Project Management Methods, preferably PPS.
- Experience of Leading people.
- Self-going and accountable.
- Ability to build relationships and co-operate with people.
- Strong drive and high commitment. Focused on goal and to deliver result with an holistic view
- Good communication skills in writtena and verbal English.
- Analytical, structured and organized.
