Business Analyst - Derivatives

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Core-Asset Consulting's client, a leading investment management firm, has an opening for a Business Analyst to join their Edinburgh team on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will have strong derivatives knowledge and a good understanding of clearing processes.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong derivatives knowledge (ideally across varied asset classes), with a good understand of the Clearing process
- Good E2E knowledge of asset management operational processes (investment banking also relevant)
- Understanding of current regulatory landscape - Dodd Frank, EMIR, SEFs
- Ability to quickly understand complex architecture and processes
- Ability to produce clear and concise outputs for stakeholder engagement and understanding
- Proven track record of analysis delivery across a number of projects
- Team player with strong work ethic who is willing to go the extra mile.
