Business Analyst - Derivative Regulatory

BUSINESS ANALYST - DERIVATIVE REGULATORY

Our client in the bank industry is looking to onboard a Business Analyst - Derivative Regulatory. Business Analyst within Change the bank team Client and Credit Facilitation (CCF) to facilitate any Derivate Regulatory requirements for booking Center Switzerland. The regulatory requirements changes are often cross border in nature needing a global drive yet requiring to faction in domestic or regional ask.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze and understand regulatory issues in connection with regulatory programs such as Dodd Frank, EMIR, OTC Russia, OTC Canada, FATCA, etc

Ensure amendments of existing processes in order to facilitate smooth run the bank processes
-

Review and clean-up of provided client lists and drive the necessary actions with business partners
-

Play an active role to ensure client outreaches in a timely and professional manner
-

Close cooperation with Program Management Offices
-

Deliver a scalable solution that ensures Operations are fully compliant with Regulatory Requirements

Oversee and or conduct detailed business analysis, produce timely, clear and concise business requirement and options
-

Work closely with the Project lead to ensure that risk, issues are escalated in a timely fashion for decision in the steer co
-

Accurate and equivalent central reporting of the project status to the Project working group
-

Plan and coordination of the finalization and hand-over of the project to the Run-the-Bank teams
-

Closes project (incl. lessons learned) and tracks and remaining issues for resolution/handover
-

Delivery of the project deliverables according to the project mandate (quality, time, costs)
-

Adequate communication and reporting of project status to relevant business partners
-

Adequate involvement of all global stakeholders in project process if necessary

Correct alerting and escalation of project risks to stakeholders, Steering Committee and project sponsor

REQUIREMENTS:

-

Experience in project/analysis management or have worked in delivering project
-

Strong FX/PM product experience, Operations and or Middle Office experience

Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
-

Good technical and workflow know-how
-

Capable to run workshops with different project members
-

Target-oriented, solution-driven
-

Contemporary leadership skills (Motivator)

Good communication and presentation skills across different management levels
-

Diplomatic skills, can create consensus between different interests

Fluent in English and German as a must
