BUSINESS ANALYST with Database and Automation experience in a large and complex environment. BUSINESS ANALYST experience must be very heavy and technical know how and experience of having worked on large projects in the past must match the requirement (thousands of Servers and hundredthousands of databases).

ROLE SUMMARY:

Our customer - a bank - is seeking a Business Analyst to help to drive the database automation strategy and direction across the bank's large database estate. This role will have responsibility for all Business Analysis related activities within a related implementation project.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

- To determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- To design new processes by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
- To improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
- To recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- To define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming sub project team.
- To monitor sub project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- To provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
- To maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- To prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
- To oblige with professional and technical knowledge by organizing educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
- To contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- To liaise extensively with external or internal clients
- To understand software development life cycle
- To translate client requirements into highly specified project briefs
- To identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
- To present proposals to clients

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis project work experience, including Business Process and/or Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of complex IT infrastructures and DBMS like Oracle and MS-SQL
- Knowledge of DB automation
- Service and Workflow Orchestration tools
- Microsoft Office
- Well balanced understanding of business relationships, business requirements, IT requirements, an technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written (English and German).
- Able to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships.
- Strong dependencies management, assessment and tracking skills.
- Good listener and open to different points of view.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
