Business Analyst - Database Automation

THE PROJECT:

Business Analyst to help to drive the database automation strategy and direction across the bank's large database estate. This role will have responsibility for all Business Analysis related activities within a related implementation project.

YOUR TASKS:

- To determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- To design new processes by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
- To improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
- To recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- To define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming sub project team.
- To monitor sub project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- To provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
- To maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- To oblige with professional and technical knowledge by organizing educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
- To liaise extensively with external or internal clients
- To translate client requirements into highly specified project briefs
- To identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Bachelor or Master degree.
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis project work experience, including Business Process and/or Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of complex IT infrastructures and DBMS like Oracle and MS-SQL
- Service and Workflow Orchestration tools
- Well balanced understanding of business relationships, business requirements, IT requirements, an technical solutions
- Strong dependencies management, assessment and tracking skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written (English and German)
- Change Manager and Change Agent.
