Business Analyst Data Protection (Brussels)

A new 'EU General Data Protection Regulation' was announced on 25/01/2012 and is expected to pass into law beginning of 2018. This new regulation enforces new
or changed requirements concerning the handling and protection of personal information.
In response to the announcement of the new draft EU regulation, a project has been launched by the bank since 2013 to adhere to these new and changed
requirements.
A Business Analyst is hence sought to handle:
- The delivery of data privacy services (privacy impact assessments, subject access requests, advisory services),
- The definition of functional requirements for the remediation's implementation,
- The delivery of process documentation and supporting material (tooling, templates, training) in scope of this project.

Function Description
As Business Analyst you will significantly contribute to the improvement of the Data Privacy framework within the bank by delivering1:
- Data protection and privacy services: privacy impact assessments (PIA) , subject access requests (SAR), advisory services, etc…
- Regulatory requirements' gap analysis which includes the results of the 'Privacy Impact Assessments' run within the entities or business projects based on the

Data Protection and Privacy normative framework;
- Functional requirements for the remediation's implementation that were identified through the gap analysis;
- Process documentation and supporting material (tooling, templates, training) for Data Protection and Privacy processes

Education
Master or equivalent by experience

Dutch Native or Fluent
English Fluent
(The candidate must be able to write documents and have interactive meetings in the tree languages: French, Dutch and English).

Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Technical Experience
Mandatory
Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office programs
Excellent analytical skills;
Process definition and writing.
Change Management (training
Experience in risk assessments
Global awareness of Data protection (information security) and privacy principles;
Experience in (re)designing and implementing processes;
Excellent reporting skills

Preferable
Experience within the Banking and Finance Industry.
Experience working in cross-functional departments and teams.
