BUSINESS ANALYST/DATA ANALYST FX

BUSINESS ANALYST/DATA ANALYST FX required for a challenging role working for a big financial organization in Switzerland. You will have 5 or more years experience working as a Business Analyst in the area of reference data management applications, specifically within Banking or especially in the area of Foreign Exchange. With a strong experience of Scrum or Agile methodologies and working with geographically disparate development teams you will be highly organised and be used to working with large data volumes, data design, user interaction and data/business rules. Your IT background will be with Oracle, Java and SQL and you will provide a bridge between the business and the off-shore development teams.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

- Strong experience as a business analyst within a large, multi-national organisation
- Banking experience, ideally within the FX, reference data and settlement domain in a data heavy environment
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with a disciplined, structured and rigorous approach
- Process and Datamodelling skills
- Fluent English
- Experience of reference data management applications, large data volumes, data design, user interaction and data/business rules

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

- Familiarity with Oracle, WebSphere, Java, MQ, SQL
- Familiarity with RUP/EUP desirable
- Conversational German would be nice to have
