Business Analyst/Data Analyst

Our client, a world renowned financial services provider is seeking a BUSINESS AND DATA ANALYST for their Solvency II implementation project. One of the IT-deliverables is an application which loads and transforms all required data for producing quantitative Solvency II reports from several upstream systems and then feeds data downstream into a third-party application which will produce the final reports to be submitted to the regulators.

MAIN TASKS/ACTIVITIES:

- Business analysis based on EIOPA quantitative report templates definition
- Specification of data interfaces, both from a structural and dynamical viewpoint
- Data mappings, structure and value
- Data analysis, validation and testing against specifications
- Documentation of analysis results and specification artefacts
- Process management for the implementation of interfaces with supplier teams

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 3-5 years expertise Business and Data Analysis
- Extensive expertise in writing down business and technical specifications
- Active communicator and team worker
- Basic Oracle SQL database knowledge
- Strong Excel analysis skills
- Basic XML file format knowledge
- Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English, knowledge of German knowledge is a plus
