BUSINESS ANALYST - 12 MONTHS+ (DAILY RATE)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits and other appropriate techniques.
- Work diplomatically with stake holders to distinguish business problems and opportunities from perceived solution across multiple locations.
- Analyse, define and manage requirements using appropriate techniques.
- Work with Stake holders and Technical Architects to develop concepts, define value-add solutions and produce business cases.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Requirement gathering skills including workshop facilitation.
- Business process analysis, modelling, re-engineering and mapping, requirements capture, business case, business and functional specification production, data-modelling, reporting and MI
- Knowledge of software development methodology's.
- Has successfully worked in development environment.
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to define the Business Analysis tasks required to achieve the project objective and to carry them out without supervision or input.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Proven experience of working on data warehousing/rating/underwriting related projects in General Insurance is essential.
