For a long term contract with our banking client in Zurich we are looking for an experienced
BUSINESS ANALYST - PLATFORM MIGRATION W/MUREX (3710)
The team here in Zurich is working on migrating Legacy platforms onto a single platform, Murex. The person we are looking for will play a key part in ensuring products are migrated and captured/processed correctly within the risk system architecture. In addition the BA will work on filling gaps in the current process. Testing will be part of this book of work. Please note: WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR AN IT PROFILE, OUR CLIENT NEEDS A BUSINESS BA with a few technical IT skills (excel etc.). First and foremost the ideal candidate will provide PRODUCT KNOWHOW so the program can run smoothly from a process perspective.
The skills we are looking for:
- Seniority to coach more junior BAs
- Project experience in similar projects, large programs in the banking industry
- RATES PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE IS KEY (CREDIT DEFAULT SWAP, ASSET BACKED SECURITIES, CONSTANT MATURITY SWAP, COMMERCIAL MORTGAGE BACKED SECURITIES, BONDS, ETC)
- Sound understanding of CREDIT RISK METHODOLOGY AND PROCESSES (must be demonstrated in the CV)
- Murex knowhow would be a definite plus
- Strong Excel, DB and SQL skills (mostly for queries though, no programming knowhow)
- Overall at least five years experience as a BA with solid FRONT TO BACK PROCESSING KNOWHOW (must be demonstrated in the CV)
