Business Analyst, Credit Risk, Stress Testing

BUSINESS ANALYST, CREDIT RISK, STRESS TESTING

For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of credit risk methodology and modelling as well as knowledge of stress testing to join a newly created function in Zurich.

In this role you will take responsibility for developing and improving existing stress testing methodology.

This is a 6 month contract starting in July 2016 with a latest start date of 1st September.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

3+ years experience in a similar function as a business analyst and experience documenting business processes
-

Strong knowledge of credit risk
-

Ideally understanding of stress testing methodology
-

Experience working in a global bank, ideally investment or private banking
-

Capable of delivering results under strict deadlines
-

Excellent verbal and written communication in English

As the successful candidate you will be part of the team responsible for developing new Stress Testing capabilities, expand existing ones across the organisation as well as implement stress testing methodologies in strategic platforms. The key stakeholders would be the users of stress testing tools and consumers of stress testing results.

The successful candidate is expected to understand the current capabilities and provide subject matter expertise in the development of the target state stress testing capabilities, methodologies and platforms.

Responsible for developing scenario methodologies and capabilities centrally across the group and different legal entities as well as execute group level scenarios and stress tests.

The job entails working on scenarios and stress testing and firm wide stress testing change initiatives. These initiatives and implementations are part of the firm's multiyear implementation roadmap.

The role involves developing and improving stress testing capabilities for scenario expansion, calculation, reporting and analysis across asset classes, risk types, legal entities, risk and FO systems.
