BUSINESS ANALYST - CREDIT/MARKET RISK
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking BUSINESS ANALYST to join the bank's Firm-Wide Risk IT team in Zurich. The team supports the business in calculating and reporting regulatory-significant risk metrics across the full Firm-Wide portfolio.
For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
- Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
- Support the business engineer by describing the business processes, including the organizational structures involved
- Assist in quality assurance and project management
- Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
You must possess:
- Proven experience in Credit or Market Risk
- Good SQL and Data Analysis skills
- Experience with one of the following programming languages/environments : Python, R, SAS, Matlab, Java would be beneficial
- Experience applying business analysis and process engineering techniques
- The ability to interpret a set of technical requirements (you know what they really want)
- An understanding of the software development life cycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
