Business Analyst (Credit and Market Risk Project)

Yoh has a 12 MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for a BUSINESS ANALYST (CREDIT AND MARKET RISK PROJECT) to join our ENERGY CLIENT in Charlotte, NC.

SCOPE: Gas Consolidation - Business Analyst - Utility Credit and Market Risk.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own accountability for publication of key project deliverables, starting from design phase.
- Facilitate design sessions with Credit and Market Risk subject matter experts, technical experts (vendor, interfacing systems, etc.).
- Document Credit and Market Risk functional designs (ie, specs) for hand-off/walkthrough with vendor (Design/specs for views, reports, and credit risk calculations of collateral netted exposure and credit excursions.
- Validate approved functional specs with tech specs (from vendor) so functionality is completely addressed by vendor.
- Work with test coordinator on test approach, test scripts and contribute to SME testing.
- Communicate status of key deliverables to PM and Project Scheduler.
- Communicate/facilitate resolution of key issues/risks to PM and Project Leadership.
- Update requirements/object level traceability documentation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge with credit and market risk apps.
- High proficiency in typical MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Working knowledge of Quality Center for test script documentation/tracking/execution/defect input.
- Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience in merger integration projects.
- Preferred experience in utility market and/or credit risk business process and/or credit risk technology projects which includes applied knowledge of any (or all) of these areas:
- Counterparty exposure reporting.
- Calculations/concepts related to collateral netted exposure.
- Collateral tracking/availability/collateral calls.
- Credit availability analysis by counterparty.
