For our client, an international bank based in Switzerland, Swisslinx are looking for a German speaking Business Analyst, Core Banking.
This is a 6 month contract starting ASAP with a strong likelihood of extension.
Your responsabilities are:
- Analyze and validate business requirements, conditions and priorities within application development projects
in the Core Banking Domain. The applications involved in these projects are used to process Mortgage, Lombard and Corporate credit requests, to analyze client risk and to create/maintain credits, collaterals and real property data for the Private Banking area.
- Identify all the affected applications, processes and interfaces and perform a stakeholder analysis
- Ensure that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications
- Support developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation and testing phase
- Provide subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables
In order to be considered you will possess the following skills:
- 4 or more years of experience in business analysis and/or requirements engineering in application development projects
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of use case modelling
- Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background
- Strong ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team
- Experience in banking or finance industry
- Understanding of architecture diagrams (mostly UML component diagrams)
- Core Banking domain know how would be advantageous
- Knowledge of one of the following business engineering process standards, tools (Polarion, Balsamiq, Subversion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, HP Quality Center, SQL, etc.) would be a great advantage
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
