We have an urgent requirement for a Business Analyst to support the Financial Reporting Reconciliations Project Manager as part of a financial regulatory program within a Tier One Investment Bank.

This role sits within the Conversion and Migration work stream which is responsible for the migration strategy, covering the planning and management of month-end tests (Dress rehearsals) to support the go-live of the program.

This stream additionally includes the construction, implementation and remediation of conversion and migration reconciliations that ensure reporting from the existing architecture and processes is aligned to the new financial and regulatory reports generated.

Key accountabilities as Business Analyst:

- Working with the Process Work stream to finalize the BRD for Financial Reporting reconciliations.
- Performing reconciliations of Financial Reporting per the existing architecture and processes to Financial Reporting per the new architecture and processes.
- Perform root cause analysis of breaks
- Experience of planning, execution and migration of data in a conversion project
- Work with reconciliations work stream to ensure break identified and remediated before month-end testing
- Support test plans, test execution sequences etc.
- Supporting trial conversion runs ( month-end testing'), ensuring conversion results are reviewed by business (data owners) and obtaining their sign-off on the results.

Key requirements:

- Extensive background working on large scale global finance transformation programs
- Knowledge of accounting processes within Investment Bank
- Experience and understanding of Front to back process
- Has worked with SAP and/or Oracle
- Qlikview experience
