BUSINESS ANALYST CONTRACT - JUNIOR

DUBLIN
6 MONTH CONTRACT

ROLE
Experience in analysis with expertise in different technologies, business areas, application wide analysis and proposal of solutions.
Assemble, analyze, and represent business requirements.
Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions, project strategies and engage in negotiations.
Responsible for high level implementation plans, data and process models, cost estimating, cost benefits analysis, and return on investments.
Fcilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD, and DRP sessions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessing and documenting current state implementations.
Data sourcing, data mapping and ensuring all required information is available in the format specified by third party vendor systems.
Preparing the detailed requirements, specification, and functional review to ensure the development teams fully understand the requirements.
Report verification and validation post migration to the new system.
Key participant in the UAT cycle. This will involve providing user support and adequate supporting documentation/manuals during the user acceptance phase.

EXPERIENCE
Excellent analytical skills, ability to understand complex problems and to generate appropriate solutions
Performing business analysis, defining technical requirements and producing functional design and specifications documents
Working in a medium to large scale organisation with a complex technology infrastructure
Developing test cases, performing user acceptance testing/quality assurance and managing the various test cycles
Working closely with business users at all levels
Working closely with technology groups located around the globe
Database and data mapping, understand database schema, database modelling, ability to write SQL queries etc.
Financial Reporting in a regulatory environment
