Business Analyst - Content Management Systems

BUSINESS ANALYST - CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

SKILLS:

Writing functional requirements, workflow/wireframes using Visio, CMS (Content Management Systems), large website experience (portals preferred)

SUMMARY:

Our client is an $8 billion dollar global leader focused on the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery with over 1200 dealers and 8000 users globally. Their equipment is sold primarily through dealers globally and they are developing a new dealer portal to allow users to buy, service, finance, and source parts for their farm equipment through a new website that will be developed.
Join the team as a business analyst to help write the business case for the project, communicate the benefits for users, evaluate RFP's for potential software vendors, sit it on presentations to evaluation and write detailed functional requirements once the tool is selected. You will be working on a small core team (one PM and 2 BA's) as well as across the organization with the sales, service, parts, and engineering departments to ensure maximum ROI both internally and externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in writing business case for the project
- Evaluate RFP responses
- Participate in software presentations with potential vendors
- Write detailed functional requirements while working across the organization with all stakeholder groups
- Work throughout the project through implementation of the new tool and configuration of the Content Management System

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5-7+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience (must provide sample documentation using Word, Excel and Visio)
- Experience implementing websites and content management systems
- Experience conducting requirements gathering workshops, collecting, and maintain a requirements Matrix document
- Experience preparing and reviewing RFPs and scoring software demonstrations
- Experience in creating and developing test plans, cases and reports
