For our client, an international bank based in Zurich, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with expert knowledge in Charles River for a new contract role in Zurich.

This is a 12 month contract starting in March/April 2015.

BUSINESS ANALYST, CHARLES RIVER (12 MONTH CONTRACT, ZURICH)

Working on a strategic project with the aim of delivering an asset management market standard buy-side trading platform, you will work in a Change Management Team that delivers Charles River vendor platform to asset management business.

Your responsibilities will include:

- The ability to understand and deliver the requirements for fund managers in regards to trading
- The ability to understand and deliver the requirements of the Wealth Management/Private Bank execution trading desk
- Strong communicator who can comfortably operate amongst all stakeholders, able to negotiate with stakeholders and manage expectations

In order to be considered for this role you will possess the following skills:

- Strong track record as a business analyst or consultant working in the financial services industry
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience of Charles River at a recognized large Asset manager/Bank, preferable with multiple locations
- Solid knowledge of Manager WorkBench, Models, Blotters, Workflow Monitor and Queries
- Ability to understand the business from both PM and Traders perspective
- FIX protocol know-how
- Understand OMGEO post-trade workflows
- Strong knowledge of securities eg Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, FX
- Experience dealing directly with Portfolio Managers and Traders
- Understanding of the full life cycle (Trading Workflow end to end)
- Ability to think outside the box
- Nice to have: Oracle SQL
- Fluency in English, good German skills is an advantage
