BUSINESS ANALYST (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE) - GALWAY
Our client, a global technology Powerhouse, is seeking the assistance of 5 experienced Business Analysts for the following main requirements:
To Apply their business knowledge and facilitative expertise to gather and create functional requirements and use cases to meet business initiatives for Volumetric Billing solutions.
Analyze business and user needs, documents requirements, document AS IS' business processes and To Be' business processes. Help to facilitate business technical requirements and translates into technical solutions.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Plans and directs the analysis and gathering of business requirements, use cases, and functional requirements. Analyzes business and functional requirements to ensure that all requirements have been discovered and addressed. Work in conjunction with the Financial Account Management (FAM), Account Business Management (ABM), or Business Operations Team to create uses case in conjunction with wire frames & document business and IT requirements to deliver a holistic solution.
- Manages work independently with guidance on milestone dates provided by the Project Manager. Schedules and conducts requirements gathering sessions and helps to coordinate the review and signoff of deliverables. Provides status reports and contributes to work plan updates.
- Provides expertise through the interpretation, synthesis and translation of business requirements throughout the development life cycle. Provides expertise across one or more major business functions in area of responsibility. Recommends ideas to solve business unit issues and add value and streamline processes which in effect contribute to the overall business unit's strategy. Supports existing functionality and systems which require maintenance and support.
TECHNICAL SKILLS.
- Experience in large scale Business Intelligence projects
- Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office 2003 or later: Word (for example: creating and modifying text styles, numbering and sorting lists, working with sections and columns, formatting tables, and using templates and using diagrams and drawing tools), Excel (for example: formatting text and borders of cells, working with workbooks and worksheets, using range names, referencing cells, sorting, and auto filtering) and PowerPoint (for example: creating presentations, adding and removing slides, entering and formatting text, applying design templates, modifying masters, inserting graphics and objects, creating handouts).
- Experience using both Waterfall and Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) preferred.
