Business Analyst - Brussels - 6 Months ++

We are looking for a Business Analyst to start ASAP for a company in BRUSSELS

START: ASAP

DURATION: Until end of the year + prolongations in 2014

LOCATION: Brussels

DESCRIPTION:

As part of the implementation of IT projects, in accordance with the monitoring methodology of the project, the Business Analyst will be in charge of:

- Lead a cross-functional project between business and IT.
- Support for analysis: defining expectations of business leading to the design of IT tools, defining "requirements" and the business models, imagine possible solutions and evaluate them.
- Based on business needs or business cases, design and draft "business requirements" for IT development.
- Submit detailed functional documents provided by IT to ensure that the proposed solution fully meets the provided specifications.
- Support the business in the acceptance tests of the software to validate the proper functioning of the software, before the release in production
- Support the business in the optimal use of tools, train them on these tools

REQUIRED SKILL SET:

- Relevant experience in project management (min 5 years) including the ability to lead a team of business analysts.
- Extensive experience (min 5 years) in business analysis and writing of the specifications.
- Experience in process modelling and data model (UML).
- Wide knowledge in writing and validation of functional analyses based on business specifications
