Business Analyst Biometrics IT Team - Pharma - Basel

For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

BUSINESS ANALYST BIOMETRICS IT TEAM

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

-The IT team needs business analysis and project coordination support for several activities in the Biometrics area.
-Two projects involving semantic technologies have a need for an experienced business analyst to work with stakeholders and users to establish and document requirements.
-In addition project coordination support is needed for some of the sub tasks.

TASKS:

-Collaborate with business and informatics stakeholders to support business case development.
-Plan early stage project efforts; specifically, requirements gathering, assessment and scoping.
-Plan and facilitate workshops and end-user working sessions intended to surface requirements and validate designs.
- Support of project communication needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 7+ years of relevant experience in a multinational company
- Domain knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and clinical life cycle.
- Typically requires BA or BS, post-graduate coursework, and related experience (life science, informatics, business or equivalent).
- Ability to rapidly understand business requirements and communicate business expectations to cross-functional technology development teams.
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate complex information, issues, and potential solutions across the enterprise.
- Excellent English language skills
- Flexibility to travel
- Nice to have a basic understanding of semantic technologies or data analytics
