BUSINESS ANALYST - BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE

BRINE SA is currently looking for a Business Analyst/Programmer who will contribute to a global team that is accelerating biological science.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES.

A background in natural sciences (Bachelor, Masters or PhD in biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, chemistry, physics, or pharmacy) and/or Computer Science
At least two years of experience developing and supporting Java software
Good written, visual, oral, and online communication skills (English a must, German a plus)
Strong self-motivation and ability to learn new skills as needed

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

Java, Spring, Oracle

NICE TO HAVE:

Maven, Tomcat, Hibernate, Jira, FishEye, Confluence, SVN, CID (Continuous Integration)

GOOD TO HAVE:

-

Fundamental principles for web application development
-

Java/Javascript intercommunication and Javascript API development
-

Javascript MVVM frameworks (knockout, angular)
-

Formal experience as a Business Analyst

Wet lab experience in a molecular biology lab
