Business Analyst - Big Data DWH

Business Analyst - Big Data DWH wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 6+ years' working experience in Banking, especially in Big Data projects, Data Warehouse Business and Data Analysis
- Familiarity with architecture capability for productive data processing solutions of large volumes including structured, semi-structured data and stream processing
- Proficient in working with data and designing analytical applications with business domain knowledge in Security, Payments and Risk
- Strong background with Hadoop tools for data ingestion, processing and retrieval such as Spark, Kafka, Flume, HDFS, Hive, Impala and HBase
- Knowledge of data orchestration, metadata, data alignment and lineage
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Consulting and supporting customer business and project partners as well as development and test team
- Modelling and designing solution alternatives as well as evaluating solution proposals under consideration of architectural standards
- Fulfilling requirements engineering and management by identifying, producing, and analysing requirements
- Verifying implemented solutions in the test system and signing off changes
- Providing Post Implementation Support
