JOB TITLE: Business Analyst Big Data, Brussels

OBJECTIVE: Data Analytics Business Analyst to act as liaison between Big Data Analytics team and users at the bank. Need to understand the client requirement, formulate a solution, development and testing and implementation.

TASKS: You will also actively contribute to the development of the team and to act as an evangelist of the data
Identify the data needed for a use case and check their availability;
Help the data engineers to validate the completeness and quality of the data they have collected and prepared;
Assist the data scientist to create the analytical model and assess whether it meets the client's requirements;
Help the end users to carry out user acceptance tests (UAT);
Support and facilitate the change management process to integrate use cases in the daily operational environment;
Evaluate the performance of the models once in production at regular intervals, communicate and take action where required.

Ensure long term sustainability of the use cases delivered by the team:
Ensure proper documentation of each use case (objectives, data sources, model, visualization, tactical tools involved, etc);
Maintain a catalogue of analytical models to allow for potential re-use;
Contribute to the industrialization of the team's processes.

Contribute to making the team grow make business units aware of the benefits of advanced analytics and help fuel the pipeline of the use cases.

SKILLS
Experience in Business Intelligence or Advanced Data Analytics;
You are genuinely enthusiast about data-related matters and understand how BI and advanced analytics can turn data into information and insights;
You are interested in data management technologies (BI, Big Data and advanced analytics) and are not reluctant to deal with a certain degree of technicality;
Experience in the financial industry;
You have strong analytical skills, critical and out of the box thinking capabilities;
Experience in change management;
You have excellent communication skills and are able to present information in a clear, structured and concise manner, whether verbally or in written.
