Business Analyst, BI, BO, IFRS9, Excel, Powerpoint, Oracle, SQL, Testi

For our client, a well renowned Swiss/International Bank, we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST BO/BI (6 MONTH PROJECT IN ZURICH) with banking experience.

You will be responsible for implementing changes to models and reports required as a result of the implementation of IFRS9.

This is a project role including a number of tasks as required.

These include:

- Excellent understanding of the changes to the ledger as a result of IFRS9 implementation
- Modelling and reporting, identification of the detailed impacts of the IFRS9 changes
- Working with model and report owners to ensure they are updated to incorporate IFRS9 changes
- System Testing of models and reports
- Ensuring smooth transition of the models and reports/outputs on implementation of IFRS9
- Documentation and reporting of project progress

Your experience and skills:

- min 7 years of experience
- Experience in large data set analysis
- Business Analysis and IT change experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Numerical and logical mindset
- Advance Business Objects end-user experience (or advanced end-user skill set in a similar reporting tool - training for specific BO Web Intelligence reporting setup will be provided)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise own work effectively
- Accounting experience
- Experience in banking (especially with Balance Sheet and Securities Financing Transactions) would be an advantage
- Experience with Oracle databases including SQL queries
