For a project at our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
BUSINESS ANALYST - BCBS/REGULATORY REPORTING (4721)
This role will be within the Finance Change area. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in delivering major projects in a financial or regulatory reporting function.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- SEVERAL YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A BUSINESS ANALYST WITH GOOD PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS
-SEVERAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE REGULATORY REPORTING ENVIRONMENT (SNB, FINMA, PRA, BOE, ), experience with regulatory reporting tools eg AXIOM is an advantage
- TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE INCLUDING DATA WAREHOUSING (ORACLE SQL) IS REQUIRED FOR UAT TESTING ACTIVITIES
- Comprehensive understanding of business processes and corresponding IT SOLUTIONS FOR FULL MONTH END PROCESSING
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand regulatory requirements and business strategy
- EXCELLENT SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH SKILLS
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis and gathering of Large Exposure reporting requirements
- Write detailed business requirement documents and support IT in delivering the functional requirement specifications
- Liaise with upstream data providers to ensure that additional requirements are reflected accordingly
- Drive change with SMEs and IT contacts to implement effective business solutions and ensure that the business stakeholders are met
- Develop user acceptance test plans, cases and scripts for system releases, manage and execute testing
