Business Analyst - Basel III Implementation - Lausanne, Switzerland.
Our client, a major financial institution in Switzerland is looking for a Business Analyst to work on the functional and technical design of Basel III compliance requirements. With Financial Accounting experience and having worked in the banking sector on Basel II or Basel III projects, you will work on the migration, upgrade and testing of system integration interfaces and implemented application functionality.
Working interdependently and as part of a team, you will conduct detailed specifications of customer requirements to enable you to establish system specifications and technical design. This will be an essential part of the technical analysis, design and architecture leading to the development and support of applications created to ensure the smooth connections in the Basel III application environment.
You will have strong experience of reporting tools such as AXIOM, OBIEE, BRIO and have worked in structured systems development frameworks such as Agile. As such, you will be experienced in following strict rules for testing and promoting code in compliance with change control processes. You will be required to track change requests related to and in line with FINMA requirements.
Your background will be in Application Development, Datawarehousing with 3-4 years' experience in a Banking or Financial Accounting environment. Previous experience of working within and Basel II or Basel II environment in Switzerland would be preferred.
Fluency in English is essential with German and added advantage coupled with the ability to work with off-shore teams in different time zones.
Due to the nature of the data involved, candidates must be prepared to undergo a detailed screening process.
