For a client of ours in the banking sector, Swisslinx is searching for a Test Manager for a contract position in Zurich.
The responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Business analysis & requirements specifications (Trading, Front Office, Back Office).
- Documenting functional and non-functional system requirements as well as the resulting IT and organisational architecture.
- Identify needs of the Business, formalise and document them.
- Participate in various projects, take the lead for certain areas and provide reports.
- Core banking system Data Quality analysis and improvement.
- Datamodelling and design of the future solutions.
- Understanding and refining operational parts of business cases.
- Running meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements.
- Supporting tests and release management.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationship with stakeholders and other professionals, eg vendors.
- Maintaining high levels of IT security in accordance with the Bank's policy.
- Producing and maintaining procedural documentation.
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
- College/University degree in the field of computer science, engineering or information systems.
- Fluent in English, German and/or Russian is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking environment as Business Analystis essential.
Technical experience in:
- OS: Unix/Solaris/Linux/MS Windows.
- DB: Oracle, SQL Server.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes - request, incident, problem management.
- Independent working style, persistent and proactive
- Used to work in an international and multicultural environment
