Business Analyst - Banking

A fantastic opportunity has just arisen in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for an experienced and ambitious Business Analyst to work for a large UK financial services organisation on an initial 6 month contract.

My client is looking for a focused and driven Business Analyst with experience in Data Analysis and good knowledge/experience in target operating models to join a strong team within the Delivery Workstream programme at the early initiation stage of the project.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE;

- Deliver fit for purpose workstreams/small projects for our customers by ensuring the analysis and use of customer/frontline/stakeholder insights throughout the project life cycle
- Work collaboratively within the Technology and Change team to plan, organise, control and deliver worksreams or small projects. Ensure adherence to operational processes, policies and standards.
- Build and manage an effective network across a diverse range of businesses and functions and actively engage stakeholders across Services and the Bank
- Responsible for identification, assessment, management and escalation of workstream/project risks and issues

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU;

- Extensive experience within the financial services - essential
- Data analysis experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL, VBA and Databases
- Risk MI reporting/analysis experience- Highly Desirable
- Previous experience and knowledge of Target Operating model
- Excellent communication skills
