Business Analyst required for a project with a leading Bank in the Nordics.
On behalf of our client we are looking a Business Analyst who will have the choice to be based in any of the following locations: Oslo, Helsinki, Stockholm or Copenhagen with the below competencies and responsibilities:
Description:
KYC Continuous Improvements belongs under Group Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions Processes (GAS) that supports the prevention of money laundering and financial crime. The organisation is responsible for dealing with procedures, laws and regulations on banking supervision, designed to stop the practice of generating income through illegal actions, criminal behaviors, anti-bribery and corruption or international tax evasion.
My client is currently expanding and looking to add technical excellence to our global sub-unit. Together with a highly specialized team you will be responsible for data-mining, analysing, reporting and documenting on business requirements, business impact and related business and delivery risks.
The position is a great opportunity to combine technical skills and business acumen, while working in a dynamic and constantly evolving area. You will support end-to-end process design and implementation, thus securing high quality solutions through programming, information management, data management, tooling and process modelling. Supporting a wide range of stakeholders as well as using your knowledge and experience to contribute to quality assurance and the meeting of requirements is essential.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role you must be a driven individual, who thrives to deliver great business change results. You should be able to engage with multiple stakeholders and respond to the needs in a highly dynamic environment in order to identify and build valuable technical solutions.
The right candidate has strong communication skills, an analytical mind-set, perfect Microsoft Excel skills and a well-grounded experience within VBA, SQL coding, business modelling and continuous technology and process improvements. You cover a good sample set of techniques, change and analysis methods.
We value candidates with execution power and a strong drive to achieve, while being able to keep high quality and meet deadlines even under turbulent periods. It will further be considered an advantage if you have knowledge of anti-money laundering, financial anti-crime or SAS coding.
We expect you to have a master's degree within banking, economics, finances or a similar field. It is a prerequisite that you that you are fluent in oral and written English and willing to travel between our Nordic offices.
English is the only language required for this role.
