Business Analyst - Audit Recommendation (Brussels)

The SEPA Direct Debit is the application of processing the Direct Debit for the entire group. Two releases are planned every year to
correct incidents and implement Change Requests requested by the business lines for commercial reasons to satisfy the clients' needs or by operational departments
or to apply regulatory changes. In this dynamic environment, there are also several big projects planned for the upcoming years.
'Shared Service Center' is responsible amongst others for the SDD payment service, for which it acts as the central processing hub for 4 major entities
for the group.
Within the Payments domain, we have faced a number of incidents especially on SDD product chain. Due to this, Inspection Générale has formulated
recommendations (content not public) on which we act within stringent deadlines.

Function Description
Your role will be to drive implementation of action points linked to the recommendations in context of the SEPA SDD payment engine.
You will be responsible to align with multiple stakeholders, establish implementation plans & roll out actions as to close the audit recommendations, some of which hold
deadlines by end Q1 '15.
In this role, you will be challenged to go further in detail on specific areas, most particularly on level of incident management, etc..
Next to this, you are expected to act as SPOC for specific governance bodies being organized in context of Quality Assurance for the payment engine production
environment (follow up of incidents & problems)

Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience

Experience
Min. 2 years, by preference 5 years of experience in banking environment or equivalent.

Business Experience
Mandatory
Experience as Business analyst/ Project manager within Banking sector, with preference for payments domain.
Experience in (support for) governance activities : experience within a PMO role, setup of target governance organizations,
Business analysis skills as to drive specific discussions, go further in content.

Preferable
SEPA products (Direct Debit & Credit Transfer).
Acquaintance on incident management activities within such a large production environment (like Payments).
