Business Analyst - Asset Management (S9)

Business Analyst required for a 6 month contract with an esteemed government agency based in Sydney. Asset Management experience will be highly regarded - from chairs and PCs to art collections and ancient egyptian artifacts!

Responsibilities include:

- Provide fit-for-purpose business analysis services to ensure that the pre-defined engagement outcomes are achieved to the specified success criteria.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the IT division, the Business and external vendors
- Demonstrate effective expectation management with regard to requirements management by balancing stakeholder wants, needs and the solution constraints
- Gather business requirements, prepare business cases, estimations etc

Skills required:

- Asset management domain experience - highly desirable
- Experience in project delivery using formal iterative delivery methods
- Ability to apply appropriate fit-for-purpose Business Analysis techniques and tools to business analysis assignments (projects or BAU initiatives)
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques such as: process modelling to BPMN standard, business scenarios, conceptual Datamodelling
- Tertiary qualifications
