BUSINESS ANALYST (APP-V 5) - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH only (DUTCH or FRENCH is an asset)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- In-depth understanding and experience with Windows desktop and Workstation environments
- General understanding of business software architectures based around Windows technology
- Scripting skills (CMD, VBS and powershell)
- APP-V 5 knowledge (client features, sequencing)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills (eg the use of process monitor)
- General application packaging skills (MSI)
- Technical skills: usage of virtual machines, application debugging, determining missing components, determining hardware dependencies
- Experience in creating work products: installation documentation which will be used by other teams to create a software package

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Prepare applications for deployment in SBC, VDI and FAT client environments
- Analyze business application integration needs and debugging application run failures on the new platform
- Deliver a functional business application by analysing the business application requirements
- List the application dependencies and perform a manual install and troubleshoot potential issues
- Document the findings and deliver a working APP-V stream
- Support Project Managers in the elaboration of the detailed project schedules
