Business Analyst ALF - Local Actuarial Landscape

For a client in Zurich we are currently looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST.

JOB TASKS:

Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system

Understands customers' objectives, processes, and products in order to make educated recommendations

Develops functional specifications and prepares Solution Design document(s)

Acts as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned

Supports the program/project managers in validation of suppliers' estimates

Supports application testing, implementation, and training activities

Performs quality review checks on project deliverables

Supports program/project managers in building Business Case, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high level plan Drives Business Requirement gathering and analysis

Supports solution provider in creating the Functional Design of system, where appropriate

EXPERIENCE/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent specific relevant business experience)

Certification of Business Analysis (eg CBAP) advantageous

Knowledge of Data Modeling (including tool, eg ERWIN)

Knowledge Project Management methodologies (preferably PMI)

MS Office

Several years of experience as a business analyst

Working experience in insurance and/or finance industry advantageous

Fluent spoken and written German

Good spoken and written English skills
