Business Analyst - Aladdin Platform

OVERVIEW OF BUSINESS AREA/PROJECT:

Working on a new project which has the scope to allow Portfolio Managers to use Aladdin, a BlackRock Solutions tool, for the portfolio modelling, risk analysis, reporting etc

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To represent Data Management towards the Aladdin Project
- Be the single point of contact and coordinator for Data Management relevant tasks and processes
- Establish business processes to maintain the relevant data sections within the Aladdin product
- Design operational framework to include Aladdin related activities and processes into daily Data Management business framework and information flow
- Introduce adequate reconciliations between the various Data Management tools (IMdb/Cadis, Aladdin, PBR, CRIMS etc)
- Ensure proper control mechanisms are being implemented
- Define, review and implement business processes and validations in collaboration with the Head Data Management
- Propose test scenarios and perform relevant UAT tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

- Knowledge of the Aladdin Tool
- Business analysis skills are crucial
- Proven track record within hybrid IT/Business/Banking role. Examples includes positions related to activities with data vendors (Bloomberg, Factset, Rimes, Reuters, etc) or securities application support, business analysis and mid office operations roles.
- Thorough understanding of the securities industry product range (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX etc)
- Fluent English required

Desired:

- Experience in Indices & Benchmarks, including blending of custom benchmarks, carve out, segmentation and hedging would be beneficial
- German would be an asset
- Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently, but a strong team player.
- Ability to stay organized and demonstrate an ability to complete tasks efficiently, accurately and on time.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
