BUSINESS ANALYST - AGILE, MS OFFICE, ORACLE, BANKING

- Location: Brussels, Belgium
- 3 year contract (extended every 3 months)
- €438 p/day
- Languages requirement: English and French or English and Dutch

FUNCTION:

- Acting as bridge between the Business and the IT team
- Capturing high-level context of the projects in Vision document, Business case, Comparison studies,
- Formalizing business requirements and business processes applying the best practices of the Industry (BABOK, Agile techniques)
- Writing functional specifications for developers
- Communicating about the projects at all levels of the organization
- Actively participating to the testing phases (redaction of test cases, coach users, feedback) both on Business and IT sides
- Support the project manager in planning activities and communication

PROFILE:

- At least 12 years relevant professional experience as a business analyst or functional analyst in IT sector or an IT department
- Mandatory EN/FR language skills
- Strong and well developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication - written and oral
- Result-oriented

REQUIRED SPECIFIC EXPERTISE:

- Good practice of Agile/Scrum methodology, in particular the role of PO
- Agile techniques: User Stories, Backlog management, Planning workshop, Retrospectives,
- MS Office, MS Visio or other modelling tool
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JiRA tools is a plus
- Experience with Oracle database is a plus
- Having some affinity with financial arithmetic (annuities, compound interest, time value of money) is a plus
