BUSINESS ANALYST - ACCOUNTING/FINANCIAL REPORTING/US GAAP - this is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced BA to join an international Financial Services company for a global project. The focus for the role will be to support the design and development of new reporting components and configuration of the financial database.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 6+ years Business Analysis experience within Financial Services
- Solid experience in Financial Accounting
- Excellent understanding of application engineering, data architecture and data mining beside good knowledge/experience in SQL, Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint
- Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills as well as strong team playing skills in a global environment with business experts and application engineers
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Working with business users in close collaboration with all stakeholders, business experts and application engineers
- Accomplishing, deliberating, evaluating, documenting and communicating business requirements for new and existing reporting processes, databases and reporting solutions
- Analyzing, sketching and setting up meta data models for existing and new databases
- Recording and communicating change requests, business cases, user manuals for internal and external use
- Examining and formulating user stories and test cases for group financial applications as well as implementing tests of various database, reporting or tool components
- Organizing and steering testing and rollouts including user trainings beside presenting to a wide user community and application managers
