Business Analyst - Accounting and Reporting

For our Leading Banking client in Zurich, we currently have an opening for an experience Business Analyst

Experis is seeking a "Business Analyst" to join an International Team of Experts.

The Global Environment of Accounting and Reporting is a high-volume, high-performance strategic platform for controlling and accounting purposes specific to Wealth Management units. This highly complex environment is maintained and enhanced by the business analysis team and developers located in Zurich.

Role Description:

The Business Analysis Team is responsible for requirements engineering, solution design and specification, functional testing and production support.

The business analyst has the following duties:

* Consult and support our business partners in accounting and controlling.
* Participate in and lead working groups and workshops.
* Requirements engineering and management: identify, elicit, analyze and prioritize requirements.
* Model and design solution alternatives, evaluate solution proposals under consideration of
architectural standards, IT strategy and UBS standards and constraints.
* Agree the solution with the stakeholder, specify the solution details and support development
staff during construction.
* Test the software and ensure software quality.
* Provide post-implementation and production support

Work experience required:

* At least five years' professional experience in an international banking/IT and/or an accounting environment

Mandatory Skills:

* Profound banking know-ow and/or financial and management accounting know-how
* Relevant experience in requirements engineering, process modelling (UML) and Datamodelling
* The ability to analyze complex systems; strong analytical and conceptual skills, quality awareness
* Understanding of business architecture
* Excellent database (SQL, Oracle) and data warehousing knowledge
* Fluent in German and English

Soft Skills:

* Experience in international projects and working in teams with different cultures and languages
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good time management and attention to detail
* Self-driven, motivated, solution-oriented

Work place is Zurich

Duration is until 31st December with extentions
