Business Analyst - Accountant, Ledger

Our large financial services client in Bristol requires a Business Analyst/Accountant to join a new programme of work which will reduce latent Financial Control Risk across the Finance operating model for their Insurance Division. The role requires someone to start ASAP and will be for an initial 3 month contract.

The successful candidate will come from an accountancy background (ideally a qualified accountant), and will ideally have worked in a business analysis capacity within Financial Services. The client requires the chosen candidate to possess knowledge of ledger structures & systems (specifically SAP & Oracle GLs). Nominal account codes & CoA (Chart of Account) structures is important. Ideally Hierarchy & CoA development within a ledger system.

Additionally you will have strong stakeholder management skills with a professional and proactive approach. Comfortable working to and delivering to challenging timescales, in a fast paced changing environment.
