Job Description:                                 

- Minimum 5 years professional experience as a business analyst or programmer/analyst
- Bachelor's Degree in technical, engineering or related field (Computer Science preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to summarize requirements artifacts and create customer proposals
- Experience with iterative methodologies such as the SCRUM methodology
- Demonstrated excellence in capturing functional and non-functional system requirements
- Solid understanding of Use Case Analysis
- Experience in using UML to help capture domain models or system requirements
- Knowledge of utilizing business process analysis (eg Six Sigma) to elicit system requirements
- Understanding of how to effectively utilize requirements management tools
- Knowledge of iterative requirements management
- Exceptional consulting skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to give effective presentations to customers
- Prior presentation or training experience useful

3 Must-Haves:

Medical Background

Experience as a Business Analyst in a health care role.

Experience with ICD-9 and ICD-10

Shift/Hours/Location:

Working onsite during core business hours. Must be able to do some travel (very little) to possibly Maryland and/or Utah. May be some hospital visits to gather info.

There is not a level V for IT Analyst.

Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Works with client to analyze and define the business process that needs an IT solution. Identifies and documents high-level requirements, maps future state of the solution, and ensures the system/solution meets business and user requirements.

Responsibilities:

Document and map business process and requirements for the future state of the IT solution. Identify and understand the end user's need. Facilitate the business process redesign and documentation as needed.
