A vacancy has arisen for an experienced BUSINESS ANALYST to join our team in Brussels supporting the European Parliament.
The European Parliament has a key role in promoting democratic decision-making in Europe but also in supporting the fight for democracy, freedom of speech and fair elections across the globe. Essential to allowing the elected members to carry out their duties is the effective provision of IT services.
We are looking for a consultant to draft project briefs, and work with stakeholders to develop and maintain project documentation, identifying systems to be consolidated.
Typical tasks will include:
- Identify systems for integrations in the areas of Mission, travel and meeting management;
- Clearly setting project scope, key functionalities and desired project outcomes;
- Good knowledge of commercially available packages in these areas.
We are looking for a consultant with the following profile:
- 8 years business analyst experience
- 4 years academic study
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of COTS solutions in this area
- Experience integrating and consolidating systems
Candidates should be available for a rapid start, and either be in the Brussels area or willing to relocate.
The position is offered as along term freelance opportunity.
