We are looking for a Business Analyst within the LIFE SCIENCES industry in SWITZERLAND to assess the technical options around the end-to-end Supply Chain visibility, identifying and analysing any issues that arise. You would be working with a fantastic global pharmaceutical company based in ZURICH.

As our Business Analyst, you will establish the scope and business priorities for change initiatives, whilst participating in system implementations.

This is all with a view to support our Inventory Reduction targets by facilitating a collaboration platform between Demand & Supply and Operations.

Your Responsibilities:

- Identifying/analysing business problems and documenting business requirements.
- Establishes the scope of and priorities for change initiatives of medium size and complexity, participating in system implementations.
- Influencing stakeholders to prioritise requirements and to ensure the total solution delivered to the customer meets/exceeds expectations.
- Identifying and investigating operational needs, problems and opportunities, contributing to the implementation of improvements within your area of responsibility.

You will be able to:

- Work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability.
- Exercise substantial personal responsibility and autonomy.
- Plan your work to meet given objectives and processes.
- Provide business consulting support to customers.
- Identify issues and help with resolution efforts.
- Escalate issues appropriately.
- Proactively identify and assist in prioritising opportunities to streamline business and/or system processes.
- Influence your team and specialist peers.
- Influence suppliers/customers at account level.
- Establish external activities related to your own specialism.
- Make decisions which influence the success of projects and team objectives.
- Analyse and document business requirements for your area of responsibility.
- Ensure documentation according to QMS standards, policies and procedures.
- Provide delivery of medium-scale changes and IT projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Provide input into project budgets.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on projects within your area of expertise.
- Work closely with vendors to complete required tasks.
- Perform various administrative tasks and any other relevant tasks as requested.
- Participate in authorised on and off-site meetings and group activities.

What you'll need:

- Bachelors Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a high school graduate with 7 years' relevant work experience in any business related field.
- Experience supporting functional processes and technical design.
- Knowledge of relevant systems solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Business acumen with problem solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English.

You may also have:

- Pharmaceutical industry/drug development business experience.
- Familiarity with regulated systems.
- General understanding of systems validation.
