Business Analyst

BUSINESS ANALYST

One of the leading manufacturing companies is currently seeking for a Dutch speaking Business Analyst that can work on a long term assignment in the Netherlands.

The project will be starting at the end of October, so ideally looking for candidates that are happy with this initial start date.

Your key responsibilities as an Business Analyst, will consist of the following:

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Works with business partner to elicit detailed requirements and capture business needs
- Clearly articulates and documents business requirements
- Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands
- Manages ongoing relationship with business to drive satisfaction with IT
- Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
- Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies
- Engages with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems

As a Business Analyst, you will be required to be skilled within the following:

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

- Worked in manufacturing environment (Preferably from process industry or metal) as a business analyst
- Develops subject matter expertise in assigned solution areas
- Performs analysis of integration between assigned solution components (template and implementation), including:
- gathering of requirements (functional and non-functional),
- analysis of integration (including error recovery and restart),
- Documentation in agreed integration team deliverables
- Contributes to integrated canonical Datamodelling
- Adheres to applicable policies and guidelines
- Identifies tasks and shares with sprint leader,
- Tracks progress on assigned tasks (on dashboard)
- Consults analysis and design team members, seeks advice from domain architect(s) and subject matter experts
- Offers advice and guidance (on request)
- Develops relationships with SSF, BAU, BIM and PC required for analysis, initiates required workshops
- Reviews produced analysis with design team lead, team members and domain architect
- Reviews designs proposed by design team
- Proposes improvement of team's practices and procedures
- Supports Testing and Go Live, and KT to BAU
- Prepares and supports transfer to BAU
