Business Analyst

One of my Dutch client are currently looking for a Business Analyst for a lucrative contract based in Amsterdam.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for the following:

- Collects and analyses requirements and contributes to the specification of user, functional and technical requirements.
- Solicits analyses and understands requirements to provide integrated solution design.
- Documenting the functionalities, updating the existing documentation with the implemented solution
- Aligns with the architects to make sure the designed solution is in line with the architectural roadmap
- Supporting the team in user acceptance testing and aligning with the stakeholders
- Acting as the subject matter expert in his/her functional domain and provide training and support to the Support team
- Also acting as a linking pin between the stakeholders and the implementation team/domains

THE BUSINESS ANALYST WILL IDEALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Educated to Bachelor or Masters Level with strong Financial background, especially Banking field
- Experience as a Business Analyst in Risk domain, preferably within the Credit Risk domain
- Ability to translate business (both functional and technical) requirements into solution design
- Solid knowledge and experience within Basel 2/3 and other regulatory transformation projects like BCBS239, IFRS9, etc
- Experience with data warehouse tools like Sybase is preferred
- Technically strong with experience in Data analysis and querying is preferred
- Experienced in providing 3rd line support to user questions
- Strong Communication Skills and excellent team player
- Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum team is an advantage
- Hands-on and willing to work closely with the Developers and Operations specialists and contributing towards the Definition of Done
