An exciting, long-term, opportunity for a BUSINESS ANALYST (BA) is available in Brussels, major centre for international politics and home of numerous international organizations, politicians, diplomats and civil servants.
The tasks/activities will include:
- Providing advice and assistance, evaluation studies, architectural considerations and best practices in the area of IT Project Portfolio Management with ensuring the application of the key principles as set out by the IT Governance process.
- Providing business case analysis to ensure alignment with IT rationalisation
- Assessing the viability of IT projects (costs/benefits analysis).
- Analysing requirements, business needs, organisational structures, information systems portfolio and enterprise business processes.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Minimum 19 years of relevant studies and experience after secondary school.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the specific expertise domain.
- Sound experience in IT governance process.
- Sound experience in implementing and using portfolio management solutions.
- In depth knowledge of Information System matters.
- Good knowledge of business processes analysis.
- Knowledge of software maturity models (CMMI).
- Experience in business processes analysis and modelling (ARIS tool).
- Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies
- Sound experience in project management methodologies and software engineering; knowledge of PM² and RUP/Agile will be an asset;
- Proactive attitude, customer oriented and results;
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working and working in an international/multicultural environment
- Engineering or Computer Science university degree or relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of English (spoken, written).
- Knowledge of French (spoken, written) will be a plus, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communicator.
The positions can be offered as a freelance or CDD/CDI (employment) contract.
