For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a Lead Securities Operations Business Analyst
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Zurich
You will join a global service delivery oriented organization that operates as a center of expertise and is responsible for the delivery of the change portfolio.
This organization is actively managing, in close collaboration with other units, the entire project delivery life cycle from pre-inception phase to ultimate project/program execution. The overall aim will be to consistently deliver high quality, effective and highly competitive change management services to its business partners across the firm.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Analyzes the organization and business domain and documents the business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology.
- Analyse and assess business requirements across a number of different internal Operations functions
- Development of proposals/solutions
- Review and sign off of business requirement specifications, support development until introduction and establish training material and documentation
- Change request handling as well as review/analysis of defects
- Develop (in collaboration with the business), target process models for the flow we will be implementing.
Requirements:
- Experienced senior business analyst
- Financial industry experience (preferably banking)
- Strong Operations change/line experience
- Strong communication
- Ability to coordinate change over a number of different business areas and delivery units with support from the overall Project Manager.
- Proactive, driven and results orientated
Key Responsibilities:
- Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
- Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
- Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
- Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
- Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts
Key Deliverables:
- Process documentation
- Business requirements documentation
- Recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
