For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a
Hands-on Business Analyst with good communication skills
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Zurich
Project Scope:
The project is to build a new ATK application (third party wholesale fund offering, focusing on retail business, leveraging existing strengths, experience and inventory of product, services and tools at the disposal of the Swiss Bank and the whole group. The opportunity set for this retail offering will be fund only solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
- Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
- Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
- Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
- Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts
Key Deliverables:
- Process documentation
- Understand business process and translate them into IT Use Case in order to be able to structure and create requested Business Requirement Specification for IT Development.
- Business requirements documentation
The Business Requirement Specification also contains the result of data sourcing analysis including detailed definition of Interface Specification and File Transfer basics.
Additionally, you ideally fulfil the following requirements:
- Work Experience: Minimum 3+ Years of experience as Business Analyst with proven track record in IT projects
- Good know-how in the area of Advisory Processes, Client Reporting and Portfolio Mgmt.
- Experience with Front End processing/functionality
- Independent, systematic and structured approach and way of working (eg Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, UML)
- Strong analytical and pro-active problem solving skills
- Initiative acting and dedicated commitment as well as excellent organizational skills and keen perception
- High awareness of quality and deadlines
- A very good command of German and English
