We are urgently looking for a Business Analyst to join the team of an insurance company in Brussels. You could sign a contract ASAP for at least 6 months.
MISSION:
- Be the link between the Business (Insurance) and the IT (Analyst, developers..)
- Define and document as-is and to-be processes.
- Responsible for process adaptations and business requirements from capture and documentation to business rollout.
- Act as a SPOC in assisting the external & internal IT partners during technical analysis & development phases.
- Closely collaborate with test managers and other project stakeholders, in the test strategy, acceptance testing, scenarios & cases, and to the test execution.
- Provide support during the roll-out of new processes and new tools. Prepare the training manuals, adapt operating procedures and provide trainings to Business.
PROFILE:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A Degree in Business administration, Insurance, IT or equivalent by experience.
- Over 5 years of business experience.
- Strong functional comprehension in IT
- Experience in the insurance sector is a big asset.
- Thorough experience in Microsoft Office and Enterprise systems.
- Proven experience in documenting processes, producing business requirement and use cases.
- Advanced knowledge of modelling notations (BPMN).
- Experience in products in Insurance as employee benefits, life insurance, re-insurance or others are a strong added value
- Knowledge or experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM tools is a plus.
SOFT SKILLS:
- Innovative and proactive, able to challenge established ideas/processes and propose new alternatives.
- Open-minded, diplomatic & reliable
- Detailed oriented and structured in documenting and communicating.
- Good listening skills and empathy are key competencies.
